Let me introduce myself. I’m Ashley Wilson, the founder of Olivine. If you’re new here, welcome! If not, you might have noticed things are looking a little different around here. I devised the idea for Olivine three years ago after consulting with many companies, particularly early-stage startups, and noticing gaps in strategy, bandwidth and expertise in a couple of key areas: product marketing, sales enablement and gathering social proof (customer testimonials, case studies and video stories).
Olivine started out acting as an extension of internal teams and while we still keep this customized, boutique approach for each client, we realized it was time to re-focus slightly and hone in our offerings where we shine the most: combining impactful go-to-market strategies with authentic storytelling that helps to grow revenue.
Olivine has now grown to include multiple partners, creative freelancers, and product marketing strategists who make up our collective model. Read on to learn what our offerings are, who we are as a team, and how we can work together.
We focus on product marketing because it’s what we do best. Whether we’re delivering cinematic customers stories, product marketing strategy, or enterprise sales enablement, we do it from a place that is product informed, authentic, and human.
Sometimes a company just needs an outside perspective to reframe a problem and invigorate a team. This past year the demand for our services has far surpassed what can deliver on a retainer basis so we’ve distilled and packaged our knowledge and tactics into a series of workshops.
Our short onsite intensives are proven to enable and accelerate marketing teams. Each workshop includes an onsite session with an Olivine partner, a deliverable, and a tactical playbook.
The collective model
We’re a boutique marketing collective which means we take the best parts of working with an agency (executing the hell out of complex projects) and the best parts of working with an individual consultant (specific expertise and dedicated availability). We work with our impressive roster of freelancers to assemble the best team to execute each project—meanwhile keeping costs low for clients (and us).
The Olivine partners have been working together (and loving every minute) in some capacity since 2012. Their trust and chemistry is the secret sauce of Olivine and the key to delivering impactful, creative work. Not only do we love our work, we love who we work with.
