What's the opportunity?
We’re looking to hire a part-time/fractional freelance Design Lead to own the development of creative assets for B2B SaaS clients—everything from pitch decks and sales enablement materials to brand refreshes, illustrations, and light UX/UI design.
You’ll work directly with Olivine’s project leads and clients, interpreting brand guidelines, managing design direction, and ensuring execution is thoughtful, consistent, and on time. If you love bringing complex ideas to life visually—and want to collaborate with a strategic, marketing-savvy team—this role is for you.
What will you be doing?
Lead various design projects from concept to completion.
Interpret and apply different branding guidelines from clients to end products (decks, brochures, etc)
Collaborate with team members to launch projects and complete assigned tasks.
Ensure the team executes high-quality work on time.
Communicate directly with clients about design strategy and execution.
Pitch creative ideas and back them up using mood boards and research.
What skills/traits do I need?
Deep expertise with design software and graphics editing tools such as - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign.
Knowledge of Google Docs and Slides, PowerPoint and Word as well as Keynote and Figma.
Strong understanding of visual elements (layout, type, and fonts)
A keen eye for detail and the creativity to deliver fresh work
Ability to receive and give constructive feedback
Immaculate organizational skills to work efficiently and make sure nothing falls through the cracks with the team
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English — Level 3 Professional Working Proficiency.
Passion for technology and interest in designing for software brands.
What experience do I need?
Graphic design qualification or similar.
5+ years experience as a brand/graphic designer
2+ years of your experience should be as a manager
How can we work together?
Most projects require a commitment of 10-20 hours per week with some needing as few as 5 and as much as 40.
Your working hours will be flexible, but you should be available for team and client meetings during weekdays in EST time zone.
You’ll have support from our CEO and operations team to make sure you’re set up for success starting with your first client project.
