Olivine by the numbers — the 2021 edition

Our co-founder Rae with our first newspaper!

More often than not, we’re so busy with client work that we don’t always remember to take the time to celebrate our wins. So this year, we decided to pause and reflect on our growth over the past year by putting together a newspaper for our team. And boy, do we have some cool things to share with you. We may be small, but we can sure pack a punch.

Presenting our new annual series: Olivine By The Numbers!

Olivine Team

We grew our core team by 88.9% in just one year. We started with nine people at the beginning of 2021, and now have 17 wonderful humans as a part of the collective. And we’re still growing. Crazy, isn't it?

In just this past year, our team worked out of 44 cities around the world. Laptop, charger, headphones — that’s our office. Cozy couches, bustling cafes, and airplane wifi. We’re a global team and wherever we are, we get it done.

Olivine Brand

We saw close to 8,400 website visitors over the year which converted to a total of 161 inbound leads. That’s 175 visitors and three leads per week! Olivine rarely does any marketing or SEO work for our own brand, so we were quite shocked (and pleased) with these results.

Olivine Marketing now ranks as #1 for “Product Marketing Agency” on Google. This might just be one of the coolest things we accomplished this year and a real testament to staying laser-focused on product marketing.

Olivine Work

We launched four new websites and four new brands over the course of 2021 thanks to our rockstar product marketers, designers, and copywriter consultants.

We led 30 strategic product marketing workshops for companies of all sizes — from pre-seed stage startups, all the way to tech giants like ServiceNow and LinkedIn.

Our film team produced four new cinematic product films (even with COVID limitations and restrictions) for brands like Canvas and CloudTrucks that you can watch online.

The team also delivered 25 strategic decks and documents to over 16 tech companies across product marketing, sales enablement, website, and brand projects. B2B SaaS has been and will always remain our sweet spot.

We’re ending 2021 with a bigger team and more clients than we ever imagined. 2022 looks promising, and we’re excited to see what it has in store for us.
